VICTORIOUS superyacht model
Victorious
is the biggest yacht ever built in Turkey.
The 278.8ft vessel is a feature-packed explorer
yacht with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure.
Yacht Victorious can circumnavigate the globe
comfortably.
Yacht Victorious's life started more than
14 years ago as WETA Yacht Project at Marco Yachts near
the Atacama Desert in Chile as a 77-metre explorer
vessel known at the time as U77 or Gin Tonic II. When
the initial build ran into financial difficulties New
Zealand serial yacht owner Graeme Hart picked up the
project and transported the unfinished vessel to New
Zealand. She spent a further two years under
construction in New Zealand before she was sold in 2016
to her current owner who brought her back to his native
Turkey. Victorious yacht was completed by Turkish shipyard AKYACHT in summer 2021.
Victorious is a harmony of contradictions: warm,
welcoming and deftly intimidating. Her naval architecture
came from the drawing boards of Marco Yachts, while her
exterior styling was entrusted to Michael Leach Design,
world-renowned for his stylistic flair.
Yacht Victorious is equipped with a full gym, a beauty and
hair salon, a massage area, a hammam, and a gorgeous
heated swimming pool. She also features a whirlpool on
deck. When guests want to disembark and feel dry land
under their feet, they can get there via helicopter
thanks to Victorious’ helipad capable of holding an
AC145 or equivalent. Up to twenty guests can be
accommodated onboard.
There are
only a few mega yachts in the world that have a properly
designed real fireplace. To allow for this
wood-burning fireplace, the top deck is fitted
with separate air conditioning and air-cleaning
systems. It was also designated as the boat’s
smoking area. In the Gentleman’s Club all the
upholstery, leathers, and decoration have been
done accordingly so that you can smoke and one
hour later, any smell of smoke would disappear. On the main deck, there's a
soundproof, 10-seat cinema, which doubles as a video
gaming room for older children in addition to the
playroom for younger kids.
Yacht Victorious bears little or no relation to the
project that started life in the Chilean desert.
She had to wait 14 years and pass through three
continents to become reality. As the saying
goes: good things come to those who wait.
This Victorious superyacht
model is 42" long. It was completed in
March 2024.
